#🎛 honestly this could have been done with a firmware update (@korgofficial *cough) but now i have 2 bpm-locked loop layers to arrange, hands-free, to tie guitar licks to the drum machine and bring them in and out while changing the drum pattern or whatnot.
#🎚 one switch holds the mic button down so the input jack stays live. the toggle switch is center-off and holds down either #looper button. plus i get sick synth lead whenever i need, as long as i know what key i’m in.
#🎧 this particular unit was used extensively by @closetpsychic on her first two albums before she upgraded to the pro version.
#🔊 in pic #2 u see the harder thing, i had to bridge that tiny #capacitor to the input jack. i thought the jack was broken, and no amount of bending and cleaning pins helped. eventually i continuity tested between the jack’s pins and a cable end and found it totally solid. so i summoned #circuitbending forces and guess-shorted between this jack pin and the next nearest part till it worked.
